MORAL BANKRUPTCY

February 13th, 2008 by admin

Sometimes I think that my brother suffers from an affliction my friends and I like to call bankruptcy of morals. For the most part, my brother Rob is completely worthless. He has wasted tens of thousands of dollars of my parent’s money by failing out of not one, but two different colleges. And that is even worse than it sounds, he failed out of Indiana University after four semesters, three of which my parents told him would be his last there unless he turned his act around. Because he begged and pleaded with them, they have him second and third chances, but he did not take advantage of them. Then he came back home and enrolled at a new media arts school in the city. They offered him a ten thousand dollars a year scholarship, and it was for a program that he had a lot of interest in. Suffice it to say, he failed every single one of his classes in his first semester there. The school offered to let him retake the semester at no additional charge, and that he would take classes over the summer and be back on track by the fall. They put him on probation, and one week into the semester he had been expelled.
