RESEARCHING INFORMATION
Before we went any further I wanted to get more information on the whole hair transplant thing. I had been to two doctors and two hair clinics, and felt strange about both of them. The one clinic we went to and the doctor, a woman, was bald. The second doctor ran his practice out of the back of a gyro stand and restaurant. He did have a full head of hair, but I was so hungry sitting there, with the smells coming back, that I didn't pay much attention to what he was saying. I decided to get a a book out of the library on the subject. I went to the local branch, and they didn't have a thing on it. I then went to another branch, and a bald librarian helped me find it. He was older, and I don't think he caught the irony of the situation. He did look at me closely, especially the top of my head. He didn't say anything, though. Tara had gotten a book a the bookstore, so we both sat up that night until 1am reading about hair and transplants. Tara began to wonder if she shouldn't get a transplant, too. I began to think she was crazy.
